Easy Halloween Candy Bucket! We found this super versatile galvanized bucket at Hooby Lobby. We decided it's perfect for keeping candy at the ready for trick-or-treaters! We used our Cricut Make to make some fun vinyl graphics and spooky glow in the dark eyes that we found at the Dollar Store to the back. We plan to peel the vinyl and us this bucket again for Thanksgiving and Christmas! It's a quick easy fun DIY project.
We had a user suggest a Halloween Doormat for our porch decoration and we thought that was an awesome idea! DIY Coir doormats are so popular right now! We decided to try making our own personalized door mat. We chose this spooky black cat with pumpkin monogram. This project was super easy! We created a vinyl stencil. The vinyl sticks well enough to get the paint onto the mat, but not long term. We used outdoor acrylic paint and sponge brushes to add paint to the mat. The paint doesn’t bleed so we didn’t worry about applying too much. We were able to add both colors and monogram with only waiting a few minutes between coats and we removed the stencil while paint was wet. And that’s it! It was a fun, quick, easy project. I’m ready to create my Fall doormat as well!
